About the MQA procedure
The MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is a processing, not an "encode/decode cycle", but a series of dedicated steps for recording, archiving, archive restoration and efficient distribution of sound recordings.
The My Reel Club™ was also present at the 2022 HiFi Show on 22-23 October at the Crowne Plaza in Budapest. In the uncertainty of the post-pandemic economic crisis, we didn't really know how many people would turn up to such an event in 2022, but to everyone's surprise, we and the other exhibitors were sold out almost all the time. We are very grateful to the thousands of other hobbyists who visited us, because they reinforced our determination to organise such innovative events in the future.
On 24-25 June we held the technical presentation of Juhász Gábor Trio's album Palents, where the composer and the technical crew shared their experiences and impressions of the recording process and lessons learned from their own perspectives with an attentive and enthusiastic audience.
After a two-year break due to the pandemic, we had the pleasure to record again with great musicians as part of the of My Reel Club™ project. A subjective review of the work in progress, the preparations and the technical background.
